The Importance of the English Language

There has been much debate about the importance of the English language. Some say its importance lies in the fact that it is the language of the powerful and dominant countries of the world, while others say its importance comes from how easy and flexible it is to learn. However, this is only part of the truth, not all of it.
The real reason behind the importance of the English language is that it is the language of science and the arts. Most scientific books are written in English, and therefore anyone who knocks on the door of knowledge will find someone speaking English waiting for them. And as a student of knowledge, you will try to understand what he is saying.
